Job Overview As a Caregiver / Personal Care Aide (PCA), you will provide personalized, non-medical care and support to clients in their homes and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help clients live safely and comfortably while maintaining their independence. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization Provide medication reminders as outlined in the care plan Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors Support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities through structured routines and positive interactions Accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and errands when authorized Maintain accurate documentation while following HIPAA confidentiality requirements Help create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients Requirement Entry-Level Applicants No prior caregiving experience required Willingness to learn and complete required training Compassionate, patient, and reliable Strong work ethic and positive attitude Experienced Applicants Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, hospice care, memory care, or developmental disability services preferred Experience working with seniors, individuals with autism, dementia, or disabilities is highly valued Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications CNA, PCA, HHA, or DSP certification CPR and First Aid certification Reliable transportation Knowledge of dementia and autism care Experience using Hoyer lifts and transfer assistance equipment Training opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
