Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and caring Weekend Caregiver to join our team.. This vital role involves providing personalized assistance to clients in their homes during weekends, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's beds to promote safety and independence Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Document all care activities accurately and communicate any concerns or changes to supervising staff Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or autism enhances your suitability for this role Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice care or memory care is a plus Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is necessary Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to support residents' emotional well-being Join us in delivering exceptional care that empowers our clients to live comfortably and independently.
