Caregiver Sets Their Own Availability Position Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional independent contractor caregivers to provide non-medical care and support services to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This opportunity offers maximum flexibility, allowing caregivers to determine where they work, when they work, and the hourly rates they charge for their services. As an independent contractor, you will have the freedom to build your own client base, choose the geographic area you wish to serve, establish your own schedule, and accept assignments that fit your availability and preferences. What You'll Do Services may include: Companionship and social engagement Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping and laundry Medication reminders Transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities Grocery shopping and personal errands Mobility assistance and fall prevention support Respite care for family caregivers Observation and reporting of changes in client condition to appropriate parties Independent Contractor Benefits Choose the cities, neighborhoods, or geographic areas you wish to serve Set your own days and hours of availability Establish your own hourly rates Accept or decline client assignments at your discretion Work with clients whose needs match your skills and preferences Create a schedule that fits your personal and professional goals Opportunity to grow your own caregiving business Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Experience providing caregiving, personal care, companion care, or related services Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Reliable transportation (if providing transportation services) Ability to work independently and manage client relationships CPR and First Aid certification preferred Ability to pass background screening if required by applicable laws, clients, or referral agencies Requirements Must meet all applicable local, state, and federal requirements for independent contractors Must maintain any licenses, certifications, or insurance required in the caregiver's service area Must comply with all applicable laws regarding independent contractor services Must maintain professional conduct and client confidentiality Ideal Candidate The ideal caregiver is compassionate, dependable, entrepreneurial, and motivated to provide high-quality care while enjoying the flexibility and independence of self-employment. This role is well-suited for experienced caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), home care aides, retired healthcare professionals, and individuals passionate about helping others maintain their independence at home.
