Job Description

Family Best Care is hiring a reliable caregiver for a private in home care assignment in Oak Harbor, WA This role is a strong fit for a caregiver who is calm, attentive, patient, and able to stay fully present with one client throughout the shift. The client needs support with nutrition, hydration, safety supervision, personal care, comfort, and daily routine support. This assignment requires a caregiver who can provide steady one on one support in the client's home. The family values caregivers who are professional, responsive, observant, and able to follow care direction carefully.
Required availability:
Monday - Friday Applicants must be able to work the assigned schedule consistently once confirmed. Shift times are based on client care needs and must be worked as assigned. Location and Commute The client is located in Oak Harbor. Applicants should review the location and make sure they are able to reliably commute to and from the client's home for each scheduled shift. Reliable transportation, punctuality, and consistent attendance are important for this role. What We Are Looking For The ideal caregiver for this role will be: Reliable and consistent with attendance Patient, calm, and emotionally steady Comfortable providing close supervision and companionship Experienced with personal care and daily living support Comfortable encouraging meals, fluids, and daily routine participation Observant and able to notice changes or concerns Professional when communicating with family and the office Able to follow direction without repeated reminders Focused on client comfort, dignity, and safety Committed to providing consistent, high quality care What You Will Do Provide attentive supervision and companionship Encourage meals, snacks, and hydration throughout the shift Assist with comfort, cleanliness, and appearance Support activities of daily living as needed Help maintain a safe, calm, and supportive home environment Follow the care plan and office direction Communicate concerns to the office promptly Document care accurately as required Remain present, engaged, and professional throughout the shift
Pay and Benefits Pay:
$26/ hour Overtime paid at 1.5x Holiday pay for company recognized holidays Health insurance available for caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week Consistent weekly schedule when available Support from a responsive office team Requirements Active Washington HCA, CNA, or NAC credential Current TB test or screening Current CPR certification Current Food Worker Card Valid government issued photo ID Reliable transportation to and from Bellevue Reliable phone access for work related communication Ability to complete onboarding documents if selected Ability to work in a private home setting and follow care expectations Ability to remain attentive, professional, and engaged throughout the shift If you are reliable, attentive, and interested in providing consistent one on one care for this client, please apply through Family Best Care.
