Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings according to care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care techniques and ensuring a safe environment Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic living space to promote overall well-being Follow established care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support Requirements An Active HCA is required Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional certifications in hospice care or dementia/Alzheimer's care are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is advantageous Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude to provide empathetic support

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Pay:
