Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year experience or CNA certified License
  • Maintain current CPR Certification.

Job Duties:
  • Finger sticks for diabetics
  • Peri-care on females.
  • Handling soiled linen.
  • Cleanup of potentially soiled fluids.
  • Attending to an injury where blood is present.
  • Responsible for attending to all care needs of the residents in their assigned sections, either scheduled or as they arise. Check each resident at least every two (2) hours.
  • Set-up tables in preparation for noon meals
  • Assist with serving breakfast and the noon meal by bringing residents into the dining room and getting them started with their meals. Serve drinks and food to the resident.
  • Verbally cue residents requiring assistance. Assist with the morning snack for all residents.
  • All Clean-up following breakfast and the noon meal including clearing dishes off the tables and taking to the kitchen, wipe down tables, chair seats, arms and backs, and pick up food from floor by vacuuming/sweeping.
  • Chart any unusual incident or information needing to be passed on to the Day Lead Caregiver on the Communication log.
Chart any medical information, doctor order changes, incidents or concerns pertaining to those residents in your care on the Progress Notes. Chart any ADLs for each resident in your care. Chart vitals taken during your shift on any resident in the resident's vital sheet. Report any changes in resident needs or conditions to Day Lead Caregiver. Report any tasks needing to be passed on or followed through to off-going and on-coming shifts.
  • Responsible for light cleanup of resident apartments as necessary on a daily basis. Light cleanup is to include making beds not changed by housekeeper, spot check room; use extractor on incontinent accidents immediately and any other clean up as necessary.
  • Handling soiled linen.
  • Cleanup of potentially contaminated fluids.
  • Attending to an injury where blood is present.
Hours:
2pm-10pm and NOC 10pm-6am
Days:
Sunday-Saturday (subject to change)
Pay:
$18.-$20. depending on experience
