Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a part-time (10-20 hours) office and therapy aide for our pediatric therapy private practice in West Seattle. The ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to juggle a multitude of daily tasks with grace and love working with kids! While there is an administrative component, this position goes beyond these duties and includes assisting with children, afterschool/summer camp supports, putting together equipment/Ikea furniture, setting up/breaking down equipment, helping set up for therapy sessions, running errands, and organizing/cleaning. If you are looking for a role where you can thrive with your innate sense of organizational skills, enjoy using your laser focus to keep things running smoothly, and count on every day being something different, this opportunity could be a great fit! 3 days a week are late evenings (to 7pm) but flexible on start time- this position does require in-office time and is not remote.
Responsibilities:
Administrative duties including, but not limited to: General office duties: Phones, Faxing, Scanning, Mailing, etc. New Patient Intake setup/scheduling Obtaining referrals, records, coordination of care Contacting MD offices for referrals and send Plan of care Other duties as assigned Data entry Filing Answering and returning phone calls Organize and schedule meetings and appointments Ordering supplies Cleaning and tidying up therapy rooms Other responsibilities are variable, including but not limited to: Cleaning, sorting, organizing Physically assisting in therapy sessions and setting up equipment needed Miscellaneous errands Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1+ years of proven success in a similar assistant role Physical requirements - ability to spend long periods of time sitting, standing, walking. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Meticulous attention to detail Extremely strong set of organizational skills Willingness to do a variety of tasks as need arises - no task too menial, willing to learn Must be able to take direction gracefully as well as show initiation to keep our clinic flowing and growing. Comfortable with children of all abilities, especially when rambunctious or loud! Effective verbal and written communication skills. You must be engaging and polite at all times! Adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Pass a criminal background check maintained for all employees.
