This role requires patience, strong observation skills, and the ability to recognize and report changes in condition while supporting residents with daily needs. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, structured environment.

We offer four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts Never required to work both weekend days High staffing ratios + onsite management 24/7 on-call support What you'll do: Assist residents with daily care needs while promoting dignity, independence, and respect at all times Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns immediately to the RN, House Manager, or Director Demonstrate understanding of what constitutes a change in condition and respond appropriately Prepare residents for scheduled activities and appointments as needed Accurately obtain and record vital signs and weights Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry as needed Assist in the dining room, including meal set-up, serving, and clean-up Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information at all times Work as part of a team while demonstrating reliability, compassion, patience, and professionalism Remain calm and supportive in stressful or challenging situations Follow all safety procedures, policies, and directions from supervising staff Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of experience working with individuals with dementia in a licensed care setting Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and accuracy Compassion, patience, and emotional stability Ability to remain calm and supportive in stressful or unpredictable situations Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Requirements:
Ability to pass WA State background check Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred (Not Required at Time of Application): Active Home Care Aide (HCA), CNA or NAR CPR/First Aid (training provided) Dementia / Mental Health / Developmental Disabilities certification Required by
