Individuals interested in entering the healthcare field but who are not yet certified may qualify for our 90-day paid training program , which includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and assistance obtaining required certifications.
Position Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) Providing compassionate, resident-centered care Medication administration (for qualified Medication Technicians) Monitoring resident health and reporting changes in condition Supporting residents with dementia, mental health, and developmental disability needs Maintaining accurate documentation Promoting resident engagement, dignity, and independence Collaborating effectively with team members and healthcare professionals Supervising staff and coordinating resident care (Supervisor positions) Required Qualifications Applicants must possess or obtain the following: Current Washington State CNA, HCA, or NAR certification with a valid 2011 Exemption Letter Current Nurse Delegation credentials (or ability to obtain) Current CPR and First Aid certification Bloodborne Pathogens training Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to participate in random drug testing Dementia, Mental Health, and Developmental Disability Specialty Training certifications (training available for qualified candidates) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following experience is highly valued: Previous experience working with seniors Experience supporting individuals with dementia, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs Medication administration experience Leadership or supervisory experience Experience in assisted living, adult family homes, memory care, or long-term care settings Desired Skills & Personal Attributes We are looking for individuals who: Work effectively as part of a team Communicate professionally and respectfully Are self-motivated, organized, and dependable Can provide structure while maintaining compassion and empathy Demonstrate professionalism and accountability Possess strong problem-solving abilities Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn Bring energy, kindness, and a sense of humor to the workplace At Willow Grove, character matters.   • 2:00 PM Evening Shift 2:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM Weekend Warrior Program Two 16-hour weekend shifts Work 32 hours and receive pay equivalent to 40 hours Night Shift (NOC) 10:00 PM
