$19.00-$22.00 per hour

About the role As a Night Shift Caregiver , you'll help ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. Provide whole-person care with calm, reassurance, and respect Support residents' comfort, rest, and overnight needs Be a steady, dependable presence during overnight hours What you'll do Assist with ADLs as needed (toileting, hygiene, mobility, repositioning) Perform safety checks and respond to call lights Offer gentle reassurance and companionship during overnight wake-ups Monitor residents and report/document changes per policy Uphold infection control, safety, and overnight protocols Support hydration, comfort measures, and early-morning routines Skills & attributes Compassionate, patient, and reliable—especially during overnight hours Calm problem-solver with strong observation skills Clear communicator who works well independently and as part of a team Adaptable and attentive in a quieter, lower-staffed environment Interest in dementia-support techniques Relatable experience Assisted living, memory care, or caregiving roles Overnight caregiving or healthcare experience (preferred) Hospitality, healthcare, or customer service backgrounds welcome Qualifications At least 18 years of age CPR & First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Current negative TB test Background check clearance Why join Highgate We offer more than a job—we offer a mission. 401(k) with matching Employee referral bonuses Competitive pay: $19.00-$22.00/hour Full benefits package Growth pathways and internal promotions Positive, inclusive, values-driven culture Join a workplace that values heart, purpose, and community—day and night.
