Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in our Adult Family Home.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health and observe for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications following prescribed care plans and HIPAA guidelines Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers Record vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant health information accurately Support residents with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through specialized memory care techniques Implement individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards Experience Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or long-term care settings preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and safety procedures such as CPR and first aid required or nice-to-have Familiarity with working with people with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Previous experience using care equipment like Hoyer lifts or performing patient transfers is a plus Background in social work or nursing is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates This role is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing compassionate support while fostering independence and dignity for those in their care.
