We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Job Description We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable respite provider to spend time with a sweet and lovable child in their home. This role is designed to give the primary caregivers a short break while ensuring the child feels safe, supported, and engaged. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, building positive relationships, and encouraging independence in a safe and supportive environment while giving mom a well-deserved break. Care will take place primarily in the child's home with some community outings such as parks or walks.

Altoona, WI Schedule:

Approximately 16 hours per month - Mostly weekends

Pay:

$14.13 per hour Responsibilities Engage in age-appropriate, enjoyable activities such as going to the park, going for walks, or watching favorite movies or TV shows. Provide personal cares as needed Maintain a safe, calm, and comforting environment Offer emotional support and reassurance, especially during moments of frustration or upset Communicate regularly with the parent regarding the child's needs and well-being Qualifications Previous experience with childcare, babysitting, or respite care preferred Patient, gentle, and compassionate demeanor Comfortable providing personal cares Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Ability to understand and respond to the child's needs, including navigating communication barriers For questions or other inquiries, feel free to email us at cdwibrokers@consumerdirectcare.com For more opportunities, visit our
