Part-Time Role:
Respite Care Specialist in
Antigo The Opportunity:
Be a Hero in Langlade County Do you want a role where your work directly improves the lives of children and families in Antigo? As a Respite Care Specialist with Heroes Unbound , you provide the specialized care that allows families to rest and recharge. This is a chance to professionally foster a child's development and build essential life skills in the heart of our community.
What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Make:
Skill Development Coach:
You'll help children practice everyday living skills that lead to independence. This includes "Kitchen Confidence" (simple meal prep), "Money Math" (practicing transactions at local shops), and "Self-Care" routines.
Antigo Community Explorer:
Spend your time being active! You might head to Hudson Street Park , spend an afternoon at the Antigo Public Library , or visit a local plant nursery.
Family Anchor:
Give Antigo parents peace of mind, knowing their child is learning and having fun in capable, professional hands.
Career Structure & Seasonal Hours:
Summer vs.
School Year:
We are currently entering the summer season where daytime hours are available. If you are looking for summer-only employment, please let us know when applying!
Shift Expectations:
Please note that for year-round positions, daytime hours are not available during the school year. The role primarily focuses on afternoons, evenings, and weekends once school resumes.

Requirements:
Transportation:
A valid driver's license and insurance are required to transport clients to activities or appointments within the Antigo area.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
