Responsibilities may include:
Building a trusting and meaningful relationship with the client Encouraging independence while providing appropriate assistance Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living Supporting routines, hobbies, and community involvement Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping Providing transportation and accompaniment to activities when needed Creating a safe, structured, and positive environment Monitoring the client's well-being and communicating updates with the care team Providing compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with Down syndrome is strongly preferred Experience with developmental or intellectual disabilities is highly valued Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license required Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance Ability to pass a background check Previous caregiving experience preferred Join a Team That Changes Lives The right caregiver can make a lasting impact through patience, understanding, and compassionate support.
