Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for individuals with various needs.
This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through compassionate caregiving and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and changes in condition Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients Follow prescribed care plans, including dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or assisted living protocols Document care activities accurately and report any concerns or changes to supervising healthcare professionals Support clients with social activities and community engagement to promote mental well-being Qualifications Prior experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and HIPAA Experience working with individuals with disabilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers using Hoyer lifts Strong Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans Valid driver's license is a plus for travel This role is vital in providing high-quality home care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
