As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in your care by assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support. Responsibilities Provide direct support and personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting if needed. Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure the rights of residents are upheld and respected at all times. Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those requiring memory care. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in home health or direct support roles is preferred but NOT mandatory. Ability to perform first aid when necessary and respond effectively in emergency situations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. A caring attitude towards individuals requiring assistance, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times.
