Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in various settings, including home health, assisted living, and hospice care. This position requires a commitment to resident rights and the ability to work with individuals with disabilities and autism. Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely. Administer basic health care tasks under the guidance of nursing staff when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Foster positive relationships with clients while respecting their privacy and dignity. Assist clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence as much as possible. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as hospice care, home health, or assisted living is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous. Understanding of resident rights and the importance of advocating for client needs. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and moving clients safely. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
