Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing personalized care in their own homes. You will deliver comprehensive care tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring they receive respectful, attentive, and professional assistance every day. Duties Assist member with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to promote health and well-being Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia through memory care techniques and engagement activities Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social interaction and mental health Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Proven background in patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential Hands-on experience with caregiving tools such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids is a plus Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with families, healthcare teams, and social workers Long-term care experience that includes developing or following care plans tailored to individual needs Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly improves lives.
