Job Summary Caregiver / Certified Caregiver (Full-Time & Part-Time) Legacy Living - Boutique Residential Care | Luxemburg, WI At Legacy Living, we believe caregiving is more than completing tasks. It's about building meaningful relationships and helping people live with dignity, independence, and purpose. We are a small, nurse-led residential care home serving adults with developmental disabilities. Because we care for only eight residents, our caregivers have the opportunity to truly know the people they support instead of feeling rushed in a large institutional setting. We have the best caregiver to resident ratios! We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who want to be part of a team that values kindness, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or looking to grow your healthcare career, we'd love to meet you. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Administer medications according to physician orders, Wisconsin CBRF regulations, and facility policies. Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition and promptly report concerns. Document resident care accurately using electronic documentation systems. Assist with meal preparation, dining support, and hydration. Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate supervision and assistance. Participate in recreational activities, community outings, and daily engagement. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. Assist with housekeeping and laundry responsibilities. Safely operate transfer equipment and mobility devices when needed. Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, guardians, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals. Follow all safety, infection control, and resident rights policies.
Qualifications Preferred:
Experience in Assisted Living, CBRF, RCAC, Group Homes, Skilled Nursing, or Developmental Disability Services. Current CBRF certifications, CNA certification, or DSP experience.
