Duties & Responsibilities Provide daily care and support to residents based on their individual needs and routines. Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance. Support residents during daily routines such as meal times, nap time, recreational activities, community outings and transportation/car rides when needed. Encourage independence, confidence and participation in daily activities and skill-building opportunities. Maintain a clean, organized, safe and welcoming environment while following hygiene, health and safety protocols. Observe and report changes in behavior, health or emotional well-being to management and team members. Use positive behavior support techniques while remaining patient, calm and compassionate. Communicate professionally and respectfully with team members, families, guardians and other support providers. Complete accurate daily documentation, notes, incident reports and other required records in timely manner. Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal preparations and maintaining common areas. Work collaboratively with the caregiving team to ensure consistency and quality of care. Support residents emotionally by creating a caring, respectful and encouraging atmosphere. Follow company policies, care plans and state regulations to ensure quality and complaint care. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience working with individuals living with disabilities is preferred, but we willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn. Compassionate, patient, dependable and passionate about helping others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work positively and professionally within a team environment. CPR and first Aid certificate preferred or willing to obtain certification. Ability to manage behaviors supportively, calmly and respectfully. Comfortable assisting with personal care and daily living activities. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Flexible, reliable and willing to adapt to residents needs and schedules. Must be able to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and healthy environment Why join our team?
