Part-time Job Description:

Elite House AFH is looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide direct support to residents in a structured, home-like setting. This role involves assisting with daily care while also supporting residents with behavioral needs, including redirecting when necessary and following individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Provide medication reminders and support as needed Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed Support daily routines and structured activities Redirect residents during behavioral episodes in a calm and professional manner Follow Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and care plans Monitor and report changes in behavior, mood, or health Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Complete daily documentation and reports

Requirements:

Experience in caregiving preferred (AFH or behavioral care experience is a plus) Ability to handle and redirect challenging behaviors calmly and safely Patient, reliable, and professional attitude Ability to work independently and follow care plans Background check required Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule:

Day shift (example: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Weekend availability may be required
