Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at a CBRF- Community Based Residential Facility.
THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME
DAY-SHIFT, 8am-8pm.Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with various needs, including autism, schizophrenia, mental health disorders, and challenging behaviors
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Meal preparation
- Engage in meaningful activities and social interactions with clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany residents to appointments or outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field
- CBRF Certifications including Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, and Medication Administration and Management
- Knowledge of medication administration
- Must have basic cooking skills
- Experience working with individuals who have autism and schizophrenia is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Must pass a caregiver background check and provide a negative TB Test prior to hire
Pay:
$18.00- $21.
