Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Escort individuals to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and mental health
- Implement care plans and follow established protocols for individuals with specific needs (e.g., autism, dementia)
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism, dementia, or other special needs
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility tasks as required
- Knowledge of direct support techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living environments
- Understanding of systems for documenting care provided
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
- Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring
