Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
  • Escort individuals to appointments or social outings
  • Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and mental health
  • Implement care plans and follow established protocols for individuals with specific needs (e.g., autism, dementia)
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
  • Respect and uphold the rights of residents
Skills:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, dementia, or other special needs
  • Ability to lift and assist with mobility tasks as required
  • Knowledge of direct support techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living environments
  • Understanding of systems for documenting care provided
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring
