Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care that promotes independence and dignity. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor and document patient health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs. Support clients with mobility, including the use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function, especially for those with Alzheimer's or dementia care needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each client. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: First aid and CPR certification is preferred. Previous experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and care documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for patient transfers or mobility assistance.
