On Call Caregiver

On-Call Elderly Caregiver - Nights, Weekends & Backup Support (Stevens Point, WI)

Compensation:

Pay starting at $20/hour (cash) , with potential for more based on experience and qualifications. We're looking for kind, dependable individuals to join our small team of caregivers providing support to my 80-year-old mother, who is legally blind and lives near downtown Stevens Point. We recently hired a wonderful primary caregiver, but we're now seeking on-call and part-time backup help — especially for nights, weekends, and when our primary caregiver is out of town.

Immediate need:

We're currently looking for someone who can help Wed June 17 - Fri June 26, for about 2-3 hours each day. $20/hr. The time of day is flexible. It can be midday, or if you work a daytime job, after your regular shift would also work fine. If this goes well, there may be opportunities for additional ongoing on-call shifts, including: Transportation to medical appointments Grocery shopping and errands Reading mail and email aloud Light household chores Assisting with weekly medication organization (mediset pill box) No heavy lifting or bathroom assistance required. Flexible scheduling — great for students, retirees, or anyone looking for occasional part-time work. Experience with seniors or a background in caregiving, nursing, or related fields is a plus.
