This role focuses on providing respectful personal care, companionship, and support while encouraging independence, comfort, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily personal cares and hygiene needs Provide support with dressing, grooming, toileting, showers, and other routine care tasks Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interaction and activities Accompany client on outings and community activities Spend time outdoors, as he enjoys nature and being outside Help maintain a calm, positive, and safe environment Support mobility and daily routines as needed Light housekeeping related to client care Monitor comfort, mood, and overall wellbeing
Ideal Candidate:
Patient, kind, and dependable Comfortable working with nonverbal individuals Enjoys outdoor activities and being active in the community Observant and able to communicate through nonverbal cues and routines Respectful, open-minded, and compassionate Previous caregiving or DSP experience preferred Valid driver's license preferred for outings and appointments This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and making a positive difference in someone's everyday life.
Pay:
$16.23 - $18.00 per hour
