Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Aide on AFTERNOON, MIDNIGHTS and
WEEKENDS
to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in assisted living facilities, home health settings, or community care environments, your dedication will help clients maintain dignity and quality of life every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and laundry Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform ongoing care plans Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia and Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks involving patient transfers or mobility assistance Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, families, and other caregivers Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide respectful and personalized care Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your caring nature makes a real difference.
