Job Description

Make a Difference Every Day Residential Treatment Associate Burlington United Methodist Family Services (BUMFS) most shifts available, at most locations, and the weekend shift pays extra Why This Role Matters At Burlington United Methodist Family Services, you won't just have a job—you'll change lives . As a Treatment Associate , you will be a consistent, positive presence for youth who need stability, guidance, and hope. You'll help them build life skills, manage challenges, and move toward reunification, independence, and success . Our mission is simple but powerful: Prevent harm. Provide hope. Empower futures. What You'll Do You'll play a hands-on role in supporting youth in a residential setting: Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth Build meaningful relationships and understand each youth's treatment plan and goals Support daily routines, including hygiene, structure, and life skills Respond to emotional needs with empathy, guidance, and encouragement Manage crisis situations safely using trained intervention techniques Administer medications in accordance with protocols Document progress, incidents, and daily activities accurately Coordinate with therapists, supervisors, schools, and families Facilitate recreational, educational, and spiritual enrichment activities What You Bring Caring, compassion, and a desire to make a difference in a child's life.
