REQUIRED

Valid Driver's License, Insurance & Reliable Transportation and ability to transport client.

MUST HAVE VEHICLE & NO ALLERGIES TO CATS. NON SMOKERS NEEDED!

About us Kanawha Home Health has proudly served your community since 1988. Our Agency is licensed, bonded and insured, and all of our in-home care providers are understanding and experienced in caring for the elderly and those with special needs. DUTIES

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help clients with mobility and physical activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Escort clients to appointments or social outings
• Document and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities.

The Personal Care Assistant may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
