Job Description
APS case aides will provide general household support activities designed to help clients remain in the home in a safe, sanitary environment and reduce the risk of neglect, abuse and exploitation. Tasks may include assistance with light chores and housekeeping (sweeping, dusting, moping, changing bed linens, etc.), transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, etc., meal planning and preparation and assistance with communication with various entities. Clients served will have open Adult Protective Service cases with the Alabama Department of Human Resources.
