The Human Resources Division may solely conduct an appraisal of application materials should there be an insufficient number of candidates to warrant an oral examination. Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications/ Employment Standards:

High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Three (3) years as a Senior Building Services Worker in the Kern County classification system or equivalent, or Six (6) years of janitorial experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License is required.

SOME POSITIONS MAY REQUIRE

Possession of a valid Class B California Driver's License. Candidates may be required to pass a thorough background investigation.
