Job Description

Institutes of Health is a leading multidisciplinary center specializing in chronic pain, PTSD, brain injuries, and prescription drug abuse. Be part of our interdisciplinary, dedicated and exciting team which understands and is driven to improve life for our patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients. Interfacing and coordinating care with insurance carriers, adjusters, Nurse Case Managers and attorneys to secure authorization for services. Follow-up on requests and ensure we receive responses from insurance carriers in a timely manner. Maintain tracking for authorizations to keep precise data for reports. Coordinating multiple medical appointments with different providers within the company. Ensuring all necessary treatment documents are completed prior to submitting for billing. Arranging patient transportation and interpreters if needed. Completion of the required tasks within the deadline. Attending weekly meetings with team to discuss progress of patients in program. Providing support to coworkers. To be cross-trained and back up to co-workers
Required Qualifications:
High School Graduate Strong communication skills, written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment Problem Solving; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develop alternative solutions Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Bilingual in English and Spanish Professional demeanor and appearance
