Our Case Managers are highly organized individuals who work on a variety of cases. Case Managers support the Managing Attorney by communicating with clients and healthcare providers and help prepare settlement demands. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys negotiating and is motivated by getting their clients the best outcome for their case. What You Will Be Doing
  • Conducting initial intake interviews with potential clients to gather relevant information about their personal injury cases; assessing the potential viability of new cases and referring qualified cases to attorneys for further evaluation.
  • Assisting the Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney in organizing case files, drafting correspondence, and requesting/reviewing medical records, police reports, and other documents related to personal injury claims.
  • Collaborating with the Managing Attorney to evaluate available insurance coverage, treatment/settlement strategies, and determining the best course of action for each case.
  • Preparing comprehensive and persuasive Settlement Demand Letters, including compiling Demand exhibits such as medical records and bills, support for lost wages, pain and suffering, and future medical costs.
  • Participating in settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and other parties involved in the case and providing updates to clients regarding the status of settlement negotiations.
  • Communicating with medical providers, hospitals, subrogation entities and other lienholders to negotiate and reduce outstanding liens. Skills You Should Have
  • A strong knowledge of personal injury law, legal procedures, and case management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to understand and review medical records and reports.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.
  • Proficiency in using or learning legal software and case management systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on each case.
  • Strong negotiation skills to engage in settlement discussions and advocate for favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess the merits of each case, identify key issues, and propose effective strategies.
  • A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with clients who may be experiencing physical or emotional distress.
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in personal injury case management, with strong time management skills to meet deadlines, handle a high volume of tasks and responsibilities, and ensure efficient workflow.
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards when handling sensitive client information.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a legal role or as an insurance adjuster
  • Spanish is a big plus!
