Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a legal assistant and is skilled in reviewing medical records, managing case files, and providing excellent client service. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients' goals are met. Compensation:
$30•$33 hourlyResponsibilities:
Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm's case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met Provide recommendations to attorneys with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client's goals Perform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providers Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as neededQualifications:
High school diploma is required•2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed Professional case management process experience is needed•preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software Extensive experience conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents is essential About Company Why Choose Us?
