Core Responsibilities:
Manage workers' compensation files from intake through resolution Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement documentation Maintain accurate case calendars and ensure all statutory deadlines are met Assist attorneys and hearing representatives with hearing preparation and case strategy Track medical treatment and lien issues Proactively follow up on outstanding records, reports, and benefits Identify and designate treating MPN physicians Draft pleadings/documents, including advocacy letters, petitions, and pre-trial conference statements Communicate with clients and outside counsel as requested Communicate with clients to direct and gather information about their legal issues Responsibilities Draft legal correspondence, requests for supplemental information to doctors, pleadings, and other litigation documents Manage discovery, including but not limited to reviewing medical records, depositions, and subpoenas Maintain consistent communication with clients, attorneys, and medical providers Track and manage deadlines and ensure compliance with WCAB rules and procedures Manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision Experience 2-5 years of California Workers' Compensation experience preferred Applicant representation experience preferred be bilingual in Spanish Excellent legal writing and document drafting skills Demonstrates strong communication abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple matters simultaneously Highly organized with strong time management and deadline tracking skills Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to follow up effectively with minimal oversight Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience handling complex workers' compensation cases Ability to effectively manage a high-volume litigation docket Strong client advocacy and communication skills Key Traits Self-starter with strong initiative Professional and dependable Detail-oriented and highly organized Able to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment
Compensation & Growth:
Hourly Rate:
