Whether your passion is mindfulness, yoga, hiking, fitness, art, board games, cooking, music, or another activity, we encourage staff to create opportunities that help participants connect, build confidence, and develop healthy routines. Each participant has an individualized "AIM Plan" that outlines their goals. Mentors work alongside participants to break larger goals into manageable steps, provide accountability, celebrate successes, and help them overcome obstacles. Duties Build supportive and appropriate relationships with young adult participants Assist participants in working toward goals outlined in their individualized AIM Plans Help participants break larger goals into smaller, achievable steps Provide accountability, encouragement, and real-time coaching Support development of life skills, executive functioning, and independence Assist with grocery shopping, meal planning, budgeting, and community living responsibilities Support participants in maintaining shared living spaces and community housing expectations Facilitate or co-facilitate activities based on your interests and strengths Participate in community meetings and program events Assist with transportation as needed using program vehicles or your personal vehicle.
