POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Manger Supervisor, Non-Residential, Community Corrections is responsible for the oversight and supervision of case management services for non-residential clients. Works directly with government partner and represents company on committees. Reviews all client reports prior to submission to courts. Attends, testifies and communicates with courts as required. Assists with quarterly audits to ensure compliance across assigned district or region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervises the management, development, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of non-residential case management for assigned district or region. Reviews required court reports, such as terminations, revocations, warrants or affidavits, prior to being filed with the court. Ensures all reports are prepared and filed in accordance with proper processing standards as outlined in company policy and procedures, and that all conditions are accurate. Reviews documents to ensure proper communication. Makes edits and corrections as needed. Supervises staff in the performance of their duties and evaluates as prescribed by company policy. This includes, but is not limited to, interviewing, hiring and training new employees, evaluating performance and preparing written performance appraisals, listening to complaints and effectively resolving disputes or problems, taking corrective or disciplinary action, developing work schedules, monitoring work assignments, and approving leave requests. Conducts quarterly case management quality assurance audits across assigned district or region. Reports findings in accordance with company policies and procedures. Completes periodic evaluations to assess client's probation status and ensure proper case management policies and procedures are followed. Reviews electronic state files auditing for proper classification and documentation. Reports deficiencies found to management and addresses the necessary corrective actions with case manager. Utilizes established company policies and procedures in making decisions but performs with a high degree of independence and professional administrative skill and uses sound independent judgment in meeting the responsibilities and performing the duties of the position. Provides for areas under supervision to be adequately staffed; fills in periodically during periods of short staffing. Audits subordinates' payroll records and reviews the use of overtime. Maintains absolute security and confidentiality of client and administrative files; audits files to determine that all services provided are documented; reviews status of client to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed and that all contractual deadlines are met and electronically documented in proper client management system. Conducts and/or attends scheduled staff meetings to promote the proper flow of relevant information between administration, staff and clients. Communicates the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates so that they are defined and understood. Motivates and encourages staff to perform their duties consistent with policy and procedures. Takes appropriate action to prevent or diffuse potentially disruptive situations. Domestic U.S. travel may be required. Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in criminal justice, social or behavioral science or a closely related field is required. One (1) year of experience in a related field is required. Ability to communicate clearly verbally in writing and apply problem solving techniques to complex issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills required Demonstrate ability to complete pre-service and other training programs as required. Valid driver's license is required.
