Youth Diversion Team Case Manager Naugatuck Youth Services - 4.6 Naugatuck, CT Job Details Part-time $19 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Qualifications Organizational skills Portuguese Working with youth Full Job Description Job Summary The Youth Diversion Team (YDT) Case Manager is responsible for following youth referred to YDT from beginning to end. The Case Manager will work with families to coordinate intake, assessment, and community circles with volunteers, providing ongoing support for youth who have been diverted from the justice system and are in need of support. Essential Responsibilities Contact youth & family within 72 hours of referral Schedule and conduct intake, assessment, community panel, and ongoing support meetings Advocate for youth with family, school, and community Conduct suspension reduction programming Documentation and reporting of cases and diversions Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience in case management Understanding of juvenile justice system Familiarity with community support systems and youth programs 2+ years working with middle/high school students Strong communication skills Ability to maintain strong organization over long periods of time Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) strongly preferred Knowledge of restorative justice practices We encourage individuals with lived experience to apply. Scheduling should include some daytime and some evening hours, but days of the week are flexible. The position is 20 hours/week.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
