FULL TIME CASE MANAGER-MEN'S PROGRAM
with a passion for life recovery to supervise life skills, addictions recovery & work therapy programs for men without a home at The Path's rescue mission. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ & continuing growth in faith.NO HEALTH BENEFITS AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER, WE OFFER A MONTHLY STIPEND/ADDITION TO PAY TO USE TOWARDS HEALTH
BENEFITS, five paid holidays, PTO beginning at six months of FT employment, and an education/development benefit after 1 year of employment.RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
Reporting to our Program Director, you will provide "hands-on" program leadership for men at The Path that can include: addictions recovery, spiritual formation & life skills training. You will be engaging in hands-on, daily involvement in the case management activities for men to monitor/encourage progress as follows: Assist in developing goals, tracking progress in our client management software system (will train), reporting outcomes & progress. Provide supportive leadership & counsel to assist with life recovery & transition. Motivate to bring about needed change in the lives of men in our program. Confirm fulfillment of each program requirement. Assist program team & assigned clients with creating & following schedule of appointments, classes, program tasks, work therapy assignments & other activities. Promote & ensure the physical and emotional safety of all staff, clients, volunteers and authorized visitors at the rescue mission campus. Provide regular feedback & action plans consistent with Path programs. Refer to/assist with contacting area agencies & organizations. Comply with all standards and regulations of discipline, safety & security. Other assignments as needed or based on experience.Shifts/Hours:
Full time, but can be variable as needed at The Path. Availability to work occasional Saturdays is a big plus! Will discuss at interview.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to relate to men in The Path's "New Life" program with understanding, but also uphold The Path's mission/ program goals. Ability to create an environment that instills dignity, character & a strong work ethic in men at The Path's rescue mission. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to diffuse conflict, maintain composure & treat all of The Path's clients, volunteers, staff & community partners with dignity & respect at all times. Be organized, focused, results-oriented, able to plan & follow through with assigned tasks, responsibilities. Be a team-player. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, MS Office applications. Will be trained on client management software. Ability to accomplish activities with minimal supervision.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid driver's license and able to drive in the State of Florida. Able to pass a background check, as well as a drug & alcohol test. A high school diploma is required. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience as a life coach, or with men's ministry, homeless or addiction recovery a plus.BENEFITS
