About the Firm Florin Trial Law is a growing litigation firm representing homeowners and individuals in construction defect, property insurance, and personal injury matters. We are a small, fast-moving firm focused on organization, efficiency, and accountability. We are seeking a Construction Defect Case Manager to help manage a growing pipeline of residential construction defect claims. This role focuses on keeping cases organized, ensuring deadlines are met, and helping files move efficiently from intake through resolution. Role Overview Our construction defect cases follow a consistent process using Clio case management software. The Case Manager will be responsible for case progression, coordinating key steps in the claims process, and ensure files remain organized and moving forward. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple files in a structured environment. Responsibilities Manage construction defect files from intake through resolution Maintain organized electronic case files in Clio Track case progress and monitor key deadlines Coordinate inspections with homeowners, contractors, and experts Communicate with clients regarding documentation and updates Organize reports, photos, and case materials Assist with preparation of claim packages and supporting documentation Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple files simultaneously Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and well-organized records Experience coordinating tasks, documentation, or projects in a professional environment Clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and third parties Comfortable working with software systems such as case management platforms, CRMs, or document management systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar business software Prior experience in a law firm, insurance, construction, or property-related field is helpful but not required. Work Environment On-site position in Oldsmar, Florida Monday through Friday schedule Professional but relaxed office environment Direct collaboration with the attorney and meaningful responsibility When applying, please include a brief note describing your experience managing files, coordinating tasks, or organizing projects.
