Job Description

Position Summary:
The Case Manager will work with Inside Out staff to serve individuals who have been involved with the criminal legal system. This position is responsible for assisting Inside Out community members to achieve success after incarceration through comprehensive case management services. Employees will maintain professionalism and confidentiality as representatives of Inside Out. Employees are expected to approach work through a lens of personal growth and healing; to bring compassion and empathy to clients; to apply inclusivity and equity to all areas of their work; and to demonstrate cultural humility.
Responsibilities:
Perform intakes and maintain member files within timelines Provide case management re: housing, employment, behavioral health and other needs to members, as well as assisting members with developing personalized reentry plans and goal setting Coordinate and provide referrals, as well as follow up to ensure needs are being met, as well as providing systems advocacy for members as needed Implement selected services and programs, as well as community outreach and advocacy Facilitate support groups, and other programs for members Coordinate correspondence with and services to currently incarcerated IO members, and coordinate appropriate referrals of new members from DOC and local agencies Research and maintain current info re: housing and employment and other community resources for returning citizens Assist with volunteer training and community outreach as needed Other duties as needed Qualifications An Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, or a related field of study, Peer Recovery Coach or Peer Support Specialist certification, or 1 year of directly related experience, or a combination of education and experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software May require evening hours to facilitate support groups Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Passion for working with returning citizens and improving reentry services in our community Possess a valid driver's license Individuals with personal experience with the criminal legal system are encouraged to apply. This position is full time and comes with paid time off (Vacation and Sick Leave), and health insurance stipend.
Pay:
$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
