IRSH / Crisis or RCF Life Coach

The IRSH/Crisis and RCF Life Coach position is responsible for providing quality supports to our consumers with serious mental illness who are receiving services from 43 North Iowa. An AA is prefered. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Must be computer literate with proficient skills in the use of email, Word, and Excel. Self-directed, highly motivated worker who can work independently. Must possess a valid Iowa State Driver's license and maintain a favorable driving record. Ability to anticipate problems and develop contingency plans to deal with them as well as evaluate and implement alternative courses of action. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide transitional living supports to promote successful participation in individual treatment goals.
• Assist individuals in developing rehabilitation skills in areas, including, but not limited to, symptom management, medication management, personal health and hygiene, housekeeping and laundry, budgeting and money entitlements or other services.
• Assess issues of concern with individuals receiving transitional living supports and promptly report issues to LPN, administrators, qualified mental health professionals or service coordinators.
• Accurately complete all documentation within required timeframes.
• Participate in departmental and agency meetings.

Provide input to other team members and volunteer to share responsibilities that contribute to the success of the team.

Hours would be:

Wednesday 11:30 am-3:30 pm Thursday 7:30 am-7:30 pm Friday 7:30 am-7:30 pm Saturday 7:30 am-7:30 pm Qualifications

• AA Degree in Human Services is preferred or a combination of education and relevant 2 years' experience equivalent to an AA Degree
• Ability to relate to and effectively communicate a diverse set of solutions
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
• Must be computer literate with proficient skills in the use of email and Word
• Must possess a valid Iowa State Driver's License and maintain a favorable driving record. Must possess private auto liability insurance and submit written verification of the same.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
