Join our team as a Furnace Case Manager , where you will play a key role in supporting customers through the LIHEAP Furnace Voucher Program. In this role, you will manage customer cases, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely and compliant service delivery to restore heat for households in need.
What You'll Do:
Customer & Case Management Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the LIHEAP Furnace Voucher Program Guide customers through the process, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up Assist customers with vendor selection and ensure heat restoration is completed Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation Vendor Coordination Qualify vendors to perform work under the program Communicate program requirements and expectations to vendors Act as a liaison between customers and vendors to ensure smooth project completion Address vendor questions and resolve issues as they arise Program & File Management Track and manage furnace cases from intake through completion Maintain databases and ensure all documentation meets program standards Review and approve vendor invoices and work orders for final approval Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with LIHEAP policies and timelines Why Join Us?

What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required 2-3 years of customer service experience Minimum 1 year of billing or invoice processing experience Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
