Hobby Horse House is a nonprofit child welfare agency searching for compassionate, dependable, and professional individuals to support families involved in the child welfare system. Primary responsibilities include supervising parent-child visitation, transporting clients to and from appointments and visits, and documenting observations in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to follow agency and court-related guidelines, and professionalism when working with children and families. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Candidates must also be able to successfully complete all required background checks in accordance with child welfare and DCFS regulations.
