Full Job Description Position:
Casework Services Provider Location:
Home & Community-Based Services in Marion County, Indiana Join our Rose Family Counseling Center team in delivering high-quality, family-centered casework services throughout Marion County, Indiana. Our culturally competent approach focuses on preventing child maltreatment, enhancing caregiving and coping skills, building family resilience, supporting healthy relationships, and promoting children's physical, mental, emotional, and educational well-being.
Key Objectives:
  • Safely maintain children in their homes or foster placements
  • Prevent initial foster care placement or re-entry
  • Preserve, support, and stabilize families
  • Promote the overall health and development of children, youth, and families
Typical Activities Include:
  • Conducting home and community visits
  • Participating in DCS, probation, and community partner case planning
  • Supervising parent-child visits
  • Delivering parent education
  • Providing transportation assistance
  • Attending Child & Family Team Meetings
  • Advocating on behalf of families
  • Implementing behavior modification strategies
  • Teaching life skills
  • Offering mentoring support
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related human service field from an accredited institution OR
  • At least five years of direct experience working with families in the child welfare system
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
Work Authorization & Background Checks:
Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the following as required by federal, Indiana, and DCS policy:
  • Child Protective Services (CPS) history check
  • National Sex Offender Registry check
  • Fingerprint-based state background check
  • Local law enforcement check
