Position Overview:

As a Family Caseworker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families affected by allegations of abuse or neglect. Your responsibilities will include providing in-home services, facilitating supervised visitation, and offering case management assistance to help families build self-sufficiency and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Advocate for families and provide support through teaching, demonstrating, and monitoring new skills. Ensure timely completion of required paperwork and reports with meticulous attention to detail. Deliver high-quality, culturally competent in-home services focused on improving family dynamics and promoting children's well-being. Conduct home visits, supervised visitation sessions, and transportation as needed. Collaborate with the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) and participate in case planning and team meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university, OR High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree with at least 4 years of full-time experience in direct casework services to children and families, including providing support to families in need of assistance with child protection and care. Valid Driver's License, access to a vehicle for business use, and adequate insurance coverage. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Commitment to ongoing continuing education. Strong understanding of family dynamics and child development. Strong understanding and knowledge of community resources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. Why Join Us?
