Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
There are 18 Office of Community Corrections Community Justice Support Centers (CJSC) across the state including 10 operated by the Old Colony YMCA. Clients attend CJSC to participate in programs designed to improve their lives and avoid further criminal justice involvement. Each CJSC offers about 15 different programs, including cognitive behavioral treatment for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and to improve decision making, employment counseling, and Adult Basic Education, GED/HiSET, and post-secondary preparation. The Senior Clinician/Case Manager is responsible for the overall implementation, assessment, and administration of quality casework services at the Barnstable CJSC. Also responsible for a caseload of clients and supervision of at least one Clinician/Counselor.JOB FUNCTIONS
Program/Department Responsibilities:
Ensure that all casework services are consistent with the operating policies of the Office of Community Corrections (OCC) and other regulatory agencies. Ensure that client documents such as a copy of all intake materials are placed in client files including those provided by supervising agencies (e.g., Probation, Parole, Sheriff's Department). Ensure all direct report staff are completing duties in compliance with contract and in a timely and professional manner. Complete intake assessments; perform assessment tools (e.g. LS/RNR, ORAS, TCUDS, etc.); assess risks/responsivity needs; and develop treatment plans for each assigned client. Ensure that treatment plans and goals for transition are completed and reviewed on a monthly basis. Provide feedback to clients. Make necessary referrals to outside agencies or departments as needed. Case manage community based-services. Complete regular check-ins with clients. Document client interaction (i.e., client notes) as needed. Assign and track completion of Client Behavioral Interventions (CBls) as needed. Create an after care/discharge plan for each assigned client. Facilitate CBT manualized groups to fidelity. Submit to/conduct group audits. Utilize technology for programming needs (i.e., virtual meetings/groups or hybrid models). Keep client data and information updated in the system (Client Information Management System or CIMS). Transport or conduct drug testing on clients upon staffing deficiencies. Participate in all meetings and trainings as requested by the supervisor(s). Perform other job responsibilities as directed by the supervisor(s).Job Type:
