Tedford Housing is seeking a motivated, proven, operational manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of our adult emergency shelter located in Brunswick, Maine during the second shift. Our ideal candidate should be able to juggle multiple priorities, be an effective communicator, and a self-starter capable of working independently. Must have experience in staff supervision and familiarity and sensitivity to the challenges and issues faced by people experiencing unsheltered and unhoused living conditions. The Evening Shelter Manager will be responsible for the overall safety and security of guests of the shelter and oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the shelter in collaboration with the Day Shelter Manager and the Assistant Director of Shelter Services. For over 35 years, Tedford Housing has been empowering people to move from homelessness to home. Based in Brunswick and serving Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Cumberland and Androscoggin counties, Tedford has relocated its shelter programs and administration to a new expanded facility. This is a 40-hour a week, benefitted position, with a pay rate of $27 per hour. Typical Duties of the Evening Shelter Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide shelter management and supervision of day-to-day management duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Adult Shelter and the Family Shelter programs. Provide individual supervision of Shelter Support Staff in collaboration with the Day Shelter Manager and Assistant Director of Shelter Services. Support guests in working toward achieving their goals. In close coordination with all Shelter Case Managers and the Assistant Director of Case Management Services, assist with case management functions as needed. Contribute to guest safety and well-being through consistent application of shelter rules and policies. Assist in safe and productive discharge planning, leading to less restrictive and more permanent housing arrangements. Contribute to agency management through participation in team meetings. Contribute to the development of program plans and goals. Assist with data entry and reporting as necessary. Contribute to the overall service quality and compliance of client service. Contribute to the formation of a sound and healthy work team focused on trauma informed client service and positive staff relationships. Assist with on-call duties in collaboration with the Day Shelter Manager and other designated staff. Active participation in supervision with this position's direct supervisor Identify and meet professional development goals and attend trainings as offered. Carry out any other activities as assigned by the Assistant Director of Shelter Services or Director of Programs. Attend All Staff meetings, participate in discussions, and actively support team and management decision-making. Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Shelter Services and the Day Shelter Manager to facilitate twice-monthly Support Staff meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:
