This is a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire a team dedicated to supporting children and families in the child welfare system.

Applicants must have direct Foster Care Case Management (FCCM) experience, with at least (3) years as a Foster Care Case Manager and/or supervising FCCM staff.

In this role, you will supervise a team of six Foster Care Case Managers, providing guidance, consultation, and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and the achievement of positive permanency outcomes for children in care. What Youll DoSupervise and support a team of 6 Foster Care Case Managers, each responsible for approximately 15 children, with administrative support available to help create a structured, well-supported team.

Provide case consultation, coaching, and performance feedbackConduct regular case reviews and documentation auditsEnsure compliance with child welfare policies, legal requirements, and permanency timelinesAssist staff in identifying resources and services for children and familiesSupport staff during court involvement, crisis situations, and complex family casesHelp maintain manageable caseload structures and ensure quality caseworkPartner with leadership to strengthen team performance and service deliveryExperience /
Skills:
Candidates must have at least (3) years of experience with FCCM. Supervisory experience is preferred and will be considered a strong asset. • Proven ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, capable of handling challenging situations with professionalism and empathy. Experience managing extreme behaviors in both children and adults while maintaining safety and adherence to agency policies. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings, facilitate difficult conversations, and collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and demonstrate sound judgment in complex case situations.
