Full Job Description Supported Employment Program Case Manager Organization Overview:
Community Services League (CSL), founded in 1916, is one of the Kansas City region's largest social service providers. CSL's family stability programming offers a full suite of case management, supportive coaching, and direct wrap-around services to assist our neighbors in creating immediate and lasting stability in their lives and households. CSL's commitment to assist families from crisis to permanent stability is a critical pillar within the organization's mission and vision. Position Overview The Supported Employment Program Case Manager at Community Services League (CSL) is responsible for the oversight of CSL's Litter Crew crew members as it relates to permanent employment, housing and successful graduation from the program. Responsibilities The chosen candidate reports to CSL's Senior Vice President of Housing Services and will provide the following services and management oversight, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor:Client Assistance:
Helping crew members achieve economic stability through needs identification, program assistance, support, referrals, training, or other interventions, initiatives, or efforts using directive and supportive behavior. Assist with the coordination of services for each crew member to include housing services, career services, vocational rehabilitation and financial coaching. Transport clients to and from appointments with other departments within CSL. Help facilitate needs assessments for litter crew members. Coordinate continuity of services with collateral agencies and coordinate services in the community. Develop and revise client goals regularly to ensure clients are maintaining their housing, employment and financial outcomes.Data & Documentation:
Verify to those who support us how we use resources to achieve economic stability- accounting for the use of resources per client, projecting future client needs, and managing resources to maximize the impact for our fellow citizens and stakeholders.
Hours/Schedule:
The typical hours for this position are 8am-5pm, Monday-Thursday and 8am-12pm on Friday. From time to time, this schedule will vary depending on the needs of clients, partners, or programs.Salary/Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with experience with a salary range of $46,988- $58.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED equivalency and a minimum of two years' life experience in similar field. Familiarity with Independence and surrounding Eastern Jackson County communities and their resources Must have experience and the capacity to work with neighbors in a wide variety of life circumstances, from a variety of backgrounds, and with a resiliency-minded lens.
